If I make that finding, s. 24(1) directs me to determine the issues on the basis of the child’s best interests in accordance with ss. 24(2), (3) and (4). The child’s best interests is the overarching consideration: see s. 29 and Gordon v. Goertz, [1996] 2 S.C.R. at para. 50.
