The jury disbelieved the appellant’s evidence and found him guilty of both counts. The sentencing judge stayed the conviction on s. 212(4) (now s. 286.1(2)) (communicating to obtain sexual services from a minor) based on Kienapple v. R., 1974 CanLII 14 (SCC), [1975] 1 S.C.R. 729.
