Is it possible for a child, including a parent, to have consecutive, alternating, habitual residence in two different States?

Ontario, Canada

The following excerpt is from J.K. v. L.R., 2018 ONCJ 673 (CanLII):

Justice McKinnon in the case of Wilson v. Huntley[13] came to the same conclusion. At paragraph 32 of her decision, in the context of a Hague Convention hearing, she states that: In my view, it is possible for a person, including a child, to have consecutive, alternating, habitual residences in two different States, at separate times. It is a question of fact in each individual case.
