It is clear that waivers of child support are not binding on the court and that the court may intervene when there has been a unilateral change of circumstance or other proper ground to intervene in the best interests of the child: Willick v. Willick, 1994 CanLII 28 (SCC), [1994] 3 S.C.R. 670.
