1. Plaintiff relies on his first amended complaint to support some of his factual allegations. Since that complaint is a verified complaint signed under penalty of perjury, he may rely on it for the purposes of opposing a motion for summary judgment, to the extent the facts asserted are based on his personal knowledge. See, e.g., Silvis v. Davis, 585 F. App'x 606, 609 (9th Cir. 2014).
