What is the test for having reasonable cause to seek a temporary restraining order against Respondent?

California, United States of America

The following excerpt is from L.G. v. M.B., 235 Cal.Rptr.3d 494, 25 Cal.App.5th 211 (Cal. App. 2018):

Appellant argues that the two judges' decisions granting her requests for temporary restraining orders in the dissolution action and in her separate civil harassment action against Respondent established as a matter of law that she had "reasonable and probable cause for believing the truth of" the allegations she made about Respondent. Appellant analogizes to the doctrine applied in malicious prosecution actions commonly called the " interim adverse judgment rule. " ( Parrish v. Latham & Watkins (2017) 3 Cal.5th 767, 771, 221 Cal.Rptr.3d 432, 400 P.3d 1 ( Parrish ).
