witness and simply decide how much of it you believe. In evaluating witnesses' testimony, you may consider anything that reasonably tends to prove or disprove the truth or accuracy of that testimony." Later, the trial court told the jury: "Do not let bias, sympathy, prejudice or public opinion influence your decision. . . . You must follow the law as I explain it to you even if you disagree with it." We presume that the jurors understood and followed the trial court's instructions. (People v.
