7. People v. Watson (1956) 46 Cal.2d 818. Watson involves demonstrating that it is reasonably probable a result more favorable to appellant would have been reached in the absence of the error, while Chapman involves demonstrating that beyond a reasonable doubt the error did not contribute to the verdict.
