Although a jury is entitled to make reasonable inferences based on the circumstantial evidence, an inference must not be based on speculation as to probabilities. (People v. Davis (2013) 57 Cal.4th 353, 360.) A reasonable inference may not be based on suspicion, imagination, surmise, conjecture, guesswork or supposition. (Ibid.)
