to its instruction that in order to prove a defendant guilty of first degree murder, the prosecution was required to prove the defendant "acted willfully, deliberately, and with premeditation," and that "[t]he defendant acted willfully if he intended to kill." We presume the jury understood and followed this instruction. (People v. Sanchez, supra, 26 Cal.4th at p. 852.)
