We have considered defendants' claim that their convictions must be reversed due to cumulative trial errors that allegedly deprived them of a fair trial. (See Chambers v. Mississippi (1973) 410 U.S. 284, 298, 302-303 [failure to allow the accused to cross-examine a material witness and present witnesses in his own defense denied defendant a fair trial and due process].) For the same reasons we have already discussed, we conclude the court's omitting an explicit definition of "pattern of criminal gang activity"
