Additionally, at trial, defense counsel thoroughly cross-examined the prosecution experts and presented a defense expert who disagreed with the pedophilia diagnosis of the other experts who had evaluated defendant. (See People v. Fisher, supra, 172 Cal.App.4th at p. 1014, 91 Cal.Rptr.3d 609.) Further, there was undisputed evidence that defendant refused to participate in treatment despite the many years he has been committed.3 He has not, therefore, shown that his presence at trial would change his prognosis.
