What is the effect of the interrogation of Ivy in the context of marijuana possession allegations?

While it may be said that the process of interrogation had shifted from the investigatory to the accusatory stage, its focus was on Ivy and its purpose was to elicit a confession (Escobedo v. Illinois, 378 U.S. 478, 84 S.Ct. 1758, 12 L.Ed.2d 977), Ivy made no confession. She flatly denied possession and knowledge of any marijuana found on the premises.
