The following excerpt is from People v. Horace, A150890 (Cal. App. 2017):
Appellant appears to have been competent to stand trial and was at all times represented by able counsel who protected his rights and interests; the trial court did not prior to or at trial receive prejudicial evidence that should have been excluded or exclude relevant evidence that should have been received. The judgment is supported by substantial evidence, and the sentence imposed by the court is lawful.
Accordingly, the judgment is affirmed.
