The following excerpt is from People v. Seeden, E068182 (Cal. App. 2017):
2. The parties stipulated the police reports would provide the factual basis for the plea. Although the facts pertaining to the offenses for which defendant was convicted are contained in the probation officer's report, the police reports are not included in the record on appeal. Thus, we do not relay the facts of the offenses for which defendant was convicted. (See People v. Trujillo (2006) 40 Cal.4th 165, 179 [the statements contained in a probation officer's report do not necessarily accurately reflect the facts of the offenses for which a defendant was convicted].)
