MultiRegion, United States of America

The following excerpt is from U.S. v. Corso, 20 F.3d 521 (2nd Cir. 1994):

6 The defense of entrapment by estoppel is different from ordinary entrapment. In order to sustain a defense under the latter, the courts require (1) government inducement of the crime; and (2) absence of predisposition on the part of the defendant. United States v. Harvey, 991 F.2d 981, 992 (2d Cir.1993).
