The following excerpt is from People v. McMillan, F062353 (Cal. App. 2012):
9. Appellant either failed to object or objected on other grounds to a number of instances of the complained-of testimony, forfeiting his current claims. (See People v. McKinnon (2011) 52 Cal.4th 610, 674.) Appellant thus raises a claim of ineffective assistance of counsel for failing to properly object to the improper evidence. Because we find any error was harmless, appellant was not prejudiced by counsel's omissions, and his ineffective assistance claim fails. (People v. Gamache (2010) 48 Cal.4th 347, 391.)
