There is no doubt that there is a duty of procedural fairness on the adjudicator in conducting an adjudication that could lead to the cancelling of a veterinarian's accreditation. In the decision of Murray v. Canada (Minister of Agriculture), [1991] F.C.J. No. 1324 (Q.L.), Strayer J. (as he then was) expressed the view that the process at issue in this type of case was one that required adherence to principles of procedural fairness. I agree with that finding.
