What is the quantum of compensation for unjust enrichment in the context of a long-term relationship?

Ontario, Canada

The following excerpt is from Vanasse v. Seguin, 2009 ONCA 595 (CanLII):

Only Vanasse's compensation for unjust enrichment is in issue in this appeal. In order to establish unjust enrichment, there must be an enrichment, a corresponding deprivation and the absence of any juristic reason for the enrichment: see Peter v. Beblow, 1993 CanLII 126 (SCC), [1993] 1 S.C.R. 980, [1993] S.C.J. No. 36, at para. 3. There may be unjust enrichment during certain periods in a couple's relationship, but not during others.
