What is the impact of the trial judge's analysis of every piece of evidence at trial?

Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada

The following excerpt is from F.F.R. v. K.F., 2013 NLCA 8 (CanLII):

While the trial judge did not reference the evidence of every witness, it is not necessary for him to comment specifically upon every piece of evidence adduced at trial: Van de Perre v. Edwards, 2001 SCC 60, [2001] 2 S.C.R. 1014. The trial judge did not err by dealing with the voluminous evidence on these issues in the way that he did. His analysis of the evidence did not constitute a material error or serious misapprehension of the evidence. The evidence of the respondent certainly supported the trial judge’s conclusion.
