Does the deadline for submitting a request to the Assessor need to be set in 60 days?

Alberta, Canada

The following excerpt is from Boardwalk Reit LLP v. Edmonton (City), 2008 ABCA 220 (CanLII):

Nor is the deadline totally automatic. If a taxpayer will have to do a lot of work, the assessor can split the request into parts with different due dates, so that no excessive amount of work will be due in 60 days. Cf. the two-step process approved in Winnipeg Assessor v. Kisil Hotel, supra.
