In Shuster v. Goldberg Epstein J., as she then was, addressed the issue of whether a claim should be allowed against the principal of the corporate defendant. She found that there was no evidence before her that would suggest any behaviour on the part of the controlling mind of the corporation that would be sufficient to disturb the corporate veil to find that he was responsible for any damages to which the plaintiffs might be entitled.
