Again, these were complicated issues. Only four subpoenas were issued, and three of those were to persons identified as experts. I note in Berard v. Robinson, 2019 BCSC 502 where the plaintiff interviewed five lay witnesses on multiple occasions and issued four subpoenas that 5 units were allowed.
