Does the "clearly wrong" test apply to appeal from a master's decision?

British Columbia, Canada

The following excerpt is from Adroit Resources Inc. v. Tres- or Resources Ltd., 2008 BCSC 623 (CanLII):

In another recent decision, Bennett J. in Pereira v. Rodrigue, 2005 BCSC 1778, applied the “clearly wrong” test on an appeal from a master’s decision to refuse to order production of certain documents requested by the defendant. It does not appear that the question of the standard of review was argued.
