The Court of Appeal in Lynk v. Lynk (1989), 92 N.S.R. (2d) 1 outlined the principle that the standard of living that a recipient spouse is entitled to is a standard equal to that which he or she would have enjoyed had the relationship continued through to the payor’s retirement.
