In Draper v. Hodder Davies L.J. said at p. 566; … certain modern authorities show clearly that an owner or keeper of an animal may, quite apart from the scienter rule, be liable for damage done by that animal if the owner or keeper puts it or allows it to be in such a position that it is reasonably foreseeable that damage may result.
