Does a finding of inadmissibility constitute a violation of a person's fundamental rights?

Canada (Federal), Canada

The following excerpt is from Aloui v Canada (Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness), 2015 CanLII 93748 (CA IRB):

The arguments put forward by the respondent indicate that his potential removal from Canada could constitute a violation of his fundamental rights protected by the Charter. That is inconsistent with the very coherent, well-established line of case law that stipulates that a finding of inadmissibility does not engage the rights set out in section 7 of the Charter (Poshteh v. Canada, 2005 FCA 85).
