What is the test for determining interim child support?

British Columbia, Canada

The following excerpt is from Bil v. McPherson, 2009 BCSC 351 (CanLII):

The respondent relies on Corsie v. Taylor, 2006 BCSC 528, 25 R.F.L. (6th) 64. In that case, the learned master appears to have considered household income in making an interim decision regarding child support. It was relied upon by the trial judge in the present case. It must be said first that this decision is an interim decision. As well, it does not appear to have considered the decisions in Desjardins and T.D.B.
