There is little case law regarding the removal of a party. However, as the respondent submits, the law relating to the addition of parties pursuant to Rule 8-2(7)(b) and (c) should inform any decision to remove a party. In Lantzius v. Lantzius, 2015 BCSC 2066, at para. 21, Mr. Justice Kelleher commented on the proper approach to that rule:
