In Oliver v. The Queen, Lamer, J., delivered the judgment of the court. He said at p. 105: “‘ Evidence to the contrary’ is any evidence which tends to put in doubt the probative value parliament has legislatively conferred upon the statements contained in a s. 9 certificate.”
