Is assisting the principal responsible for failing to attend a crime scene?

Alberta, Canada

The following excerpt is from R. v. ACS Public Sector Solutions Inc., 2007 ABPC 315 (CanLII):

Aiding the principal requires that the act or omission be done in order to facilitate the commission of an offence, or hinders interference with the accomplishment of the criminal act. Thus, mere presence at a crime scene is not sufficient to ground responsibility: Dunlop and Sylvester v. The Queen (1979), 1979 CanLII 20 (SCC), 47 C.C.C. (2d) 93 (S.C.C.)(Dunlap) at p. 106.
