If the driver of a car is found to be a registered owner of the vehicle, can the driver also be found to have the consent of the other driver?

Ontario, Canada

The following excerpt is from Cimino v. Dauber, 2013 ONSC 1609 (CanLII):

The Ontario Court of Appeal in Mazur at al v. Elias 2005 CANLII 11390 confirmed that if the driver was also found to be an owner of the vehicle, the motor vehicle would not be in the possession of some person other than the owners as it was at all times in the possession of one of the owners of the vehicle. In the circumstances, it would be unnecessary for the purpose of Section 192 of the Highway Traffic Act for one owner to have the consent of the other registered owner before liability would attach to both.
