The following excerpt is from Loney v. Voll, 1974 CanLII 221 (AB QB):
In Morey v. Woodfield, [1964] 1 W.L.R. 16n, [1963] 3 All E.R. 533n, Holroyd Pearce L.J. said at p. 534: "It is not disputed that the only reasonable way of planning over the years is for two persons fairly fully employed to minister to the plaintiff. The defendant admits that she should not be asked to live in an institution, which might be a more economic solution to her plight. Thus her life will be very expensive since probably two persons will be employed to nurse her."
A short time later, in the same year, Sellers L.J. in Warren v. King, [1964] 1 W.L.R. 1, [1963] 3 All E.R. 521 at 523, expressly approved that judgment of Holroyd Pearce L.J.
