The new Rule on costs is 77. It contains the tariffs when applying an amount involved assessment to determine costs payable by a party. Justice Dellapinna in Tamlyn v. Wilcox, 2010 NSSC 363 reviewed the transition from the 1972 Rules to the new Rules. His commentary is a helpful guide in tracing the changes.
