Section 174 of the Motor Vehicle Act requires a left turning driver to yield to oncoming traffic when it constitutes an immediate hazard. Section 128 of the Motor Vehicle Act requires that a driver facing a yellow light to stop unless the stop cannot be made safely: Lee v. Tse 2013 BCSC 1740 at para. 48.
