Ontario, Canada

The following excerpt is from Geremia v. Harb, 2008 CanLII 19764 (ON SC):

[19] The hearing of the contempt motion involving the 2002 divorce order began on October 11, 2006. It lasted six days. I found the mother guilty of civil contempt. See Geremia v. Harb, 2006 CanLII 38350, 153 A.C.W.S. (3d) 94, [2007] W.D.F.L. 2677, [2006] O.J. No. 4547, 2006 CarswellOnt 7096. She had failed to adhere to paragraph 8 of the 2002 divorce order by which, among other things, she was obliged to keep the father “fully informed of all matters regarding the child.”
