This was a point not taken below. The mother's expenses were not challenged. In my view, she should not now have to reconcile her expenses with the child's education budget since the record is incomplete: see Athey v. Leonati, 1996 CanLII 183 (SCC), [1996] 3 S.C.R. 458 at 478, para. 51.
