What is the test for calculating income for child support purposes?

Ontario, Canada

The following excerpt is from MB v. SBB, 2018 ONSC 4893 (CanLII):

By definition, the means of a payor must reflect monies actually available for the payment of support. As stated by Justice Pazaratz in Benzeroual v. Issa and Farag[12] at paragraph 76 (d): "Imputing income is a fact-specific exercise that depends on the circumstances of each case. The objective is to establish fair support based on the actual means of the parents." 2011
