What is the legal test for misconduct in a solicitor?

Ontario, Canada

The following excerpt is from Sabetti (Re), 1999 CanLII 15124 (ON LST):

In Bolton v. Law Society, [1994] 1 W.L.R. 512, at p. 518, it was stated as follows: If a solicitor is not shown to have acted dishonestly, but is shown to have fallen below the required standards of integrity, probity, and trustworthiness, his lapse is less serious but it remains very serious indeed in a member of a profession whose reputation depends upon trust.
