Furthermore, merely letting someone else use one’s name for their profession is not oneself practising that profession: McDougall v. Law Socy. of U.C. (1890) 1890 CanLII 6 (SCC), 18 S.C.R. 203, especially at 212-13. I do not see why a business should be different.
