In Stevens v. Canada (Prime Minister) 1998 CanLII 9075 (FCA), 161 D.L.R. (4th) 85 (FCA), para. 22, Linden J.A. noted: I can find no support for the proposition that a government is granted less protection by the law of solicitor client privilege than would any other client.
