A similar and equally thorough discussion is found in Hynna v. Peck, 2009 BCSC 1057, in particular, at para. 60. Recently, in Salaam v. Abramovic, 2010 BCCA 212 at para. 33, Mr. Justice Groberman, for the court, said: “[t]he words ‘immediate hazard’ appear in both ss. 174 - 175 of the Motor Vehicle Act and are used to determine when the vehicle may lawfully enter an intersection”.
