Thompson, 85 L.T. 172, Jeune, P.: The headnote reads: If the conduct of the husband is such as to cause a breakdown of the health of the wife, by reason of the disgrace and shock arising out of a conviction of the husband under The Criminal Law Amendment Act, 1885 (48 & 49 Vict., ch. 69), the court will hold this to constitute legal cruelty on the part of the husband, and will grant a decree nisi to the wife, the adultery having also been proved.
