The general law is that a realtor has a duty to check the completeness and accuracy of all information which it is usual or customary for realtors to verify, and to verify information of which the realtor is in doubt: Sedgemore v. Block Bros. Realty, [1985] B.C.J. No. 2872, 1985 CarswellBC 625 at para. 30 (S.C.); Perrault v. North Vancouver (District), 2010 BCSC 382 at para. 18.
