The Estate Trustees all take the position that the general rule, which should not be disturbed here, is that trustees are entitled to be indemnified for all costs, including legal costs, which they have reasonably incurred: see Geffen v. Goodman Estate, 1991 CanLII 69 (SCC), [1991] 2 S.C.R. 353.
