In this case, both of the parties are of the view that if they are the subject of a protection order made against them, this will have adverse consequences for their career prospects. It is unclear to me who, beyond police, court staff and those who maintain the registry, would have access to such information. In Morgadinho v. Morgadinho, supra, Justice Schultes also considered this aspect of the granting of a protection order, but like me, it was unclear to him how much of a consideration this was. He wrote:
