Is there any case law where the delay in bringing a claim for damages was inordinate?

British Columbia, Canada

The following excerpt is from Canadian Star Development Corp. v 0712276 B.C. Ltd., 2018 BCSC 871 (CanLII):

The plaintiffs point to Wong v. Huang, 2004 BCSC 848. In that case, the delay arose from the plaintiff’s health issues and his attempts to raise funds to carry on with the litigation. However, in that case, the delay was only two years and the delay was not found to be inordinate: paras. 13, 17.
