Is there any case law in which a plaintiff is entitled to prejudgment interest?

Ontario, Canada

The following excerpt is from Lauricella v. Hamilton ( City), 2003 CanLII 23301 (ON SC):

So far as the argument relating to delay is concerned, I find nothing in the conduct of the action which led to an inordinate delay so as to suspend the entitled to prejudgment interest as occurred in Hill v. Church of Scientology of Toronto, supra.
