To give the words “of each of them” their proper meaning, I think it is unnecessary to go further than to adopt the judgment of Lord Herschell, in the case of Whyte v. Tyndall, cited above. The words of the covenant in that case were as follows: [The covenantors] or some or one of them, their executors, administrators or assigns, shall * * well and sufficiently pay unto [the covenantee]’ etc.
