Moreover, where a party refuses to produce a valuation for an asset, the court may order that the party pay interim disbursements towards the completion of a proper valuation for that asset. This is so even in cases where neither party is necessarily affluent enough to hire a valuator. See Greenwood v. Greenwood (1988), 1988 Carswell Ont 322.
